So this is the story.

Albanian Hip Hop refers to artists from Albania, Kosovo, the Republic of Macedonia and Montenegro as the Albanian language is spoken in the whole of Albania and Kosovo and it also spoken in some parts of Macedonia and Montenegro. The term Albanian Hip Hop also refers to other Albanian-inhabited places such as the United States, Germany andUnited Kingdom. Since 2012, a team of French peoples try to help hip hop culture in Albania. They created the first Albanian hip hop festival, which is performed in Tirane, Elbasan, Shkodra and Korça.

2Die4 was the first legendary group who brought Modern Rap in Albania.The group is formed by 4 guys from the city of Fier. But the first rap group ever made in Albania is Banda Butuesi formed by 99ci,DMC aka Babloki and other guys from the Northern town of Albania,Bajram Curri. Other old school famous Albanian rappers are Mr Elvis, Rudi, West Side Family, Vagabondi, etc.

While in Kosovo rap was found in the 90's by such rappers like Getoar Selimi, 2Po2, Unikkatil, Presioni, Ritmi Rruges, Duda, etc.

Now days mostly known are rap labels. The most successful rap label is TBA (The Bloody Alboz) formed by Rappers from Kosovo, Albania and Macedonia mostly of them living in the USA. Other successful Labels are OTR (On Top Of The Rest), GG Army (Double G), Babastars, and P.I.N.T, etc.

The most young and talented rappers are Elinel and Buta.
